Location: Hybrid role listed in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain; anchored in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with regular time at GCC client sites and approximately 40% regional travel plus 10% global travel.

What you will do
- Lead technical strategy and execution for lighthouse product engagements using the 3/3/3 approach: concept in three days, prototype in three weeks, and production launch in three months.
- Run concept sprints with executives, product managers, designers, and client partners to define scope, outcomes, success measures, and technical direction.
- Shape technical proposals, pricing approaches, architecture decisions, pod composition, and technical narratives for new pursuits.
- Set direction for AI-powered prototypes and production systems, including evaluation datasets, human review, guardrails, observability, cost controls, and latency targets.
- Own scalable architecture and delivery practices covering continuous delivery, testing, security, privacy, integrations, and long-term maintainability.
- Lead across multiple pods, advise steering committees, mentor engineers, review code, and develop reusable engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript, working knowledge of the other, and production experience with at least one additional language.
- Hands-on experience with LLM providers, RAG, vector databases, agent frameworks, AI evaluation, tracing, and cost monitoring.
- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform, plus Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong foundations in API design, event-driven systems, microservices, enterprise integration, data platforms, orchestration, and React/Next.js prototyping.
- Experience with regulated and high-security environments, including standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, Saudi PDPL, or the EU AI Act.
- Experience presenting to executives, facilitating workshops, leading technical pitches, mentoring engineers, and delivering in GCC or international markets.
