Sales Engineer (AI)

Location: EMEA and the European Union; based in EMEA with the right to work in the country of residence and willingness to travel across the region. Remote-first environment.

What you will do

• Run enterprise proofs of concept from architecture discussions through signed evaluations, including installation, gateway configuration, workflow migration, and value validation.
• Advise CTOs, engineering leaders, platform teams, and senior developers on coding agents, model routing, context management, and enterprise deployment.
• Benchmark Kimchi against incumbent tools on accuracy, cost per run, latency, and developer experience.
• Lead enterprise security, data residency, and network architecture reviews with product engineering support when needed.
• Diagnose and resolve integration issues in customer IDEs, codebases, and configurations during live evaluations.
• Feed customer insights into product development, enable account executives and sales engineers, and represent Kimchi at EMEA events.

Requirements

• Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Field Engineer in developer tools, AI/ML infrastructure, or cloud platforms.
• Hands-on fluency with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of LLM serving and integration, including OpenAI-compatible APIs, inference gateways and routers, context windows, tool calling, MCP, and token economics.
• Comfort working in a terminal and customer codebases, with fluency in at least one scripting language and the ability to debug configurations live.
• Track record of converting technical evaluations into signed enterprise business, including security and architecture reviews.
• Must be based in EMEA, have the right to work in the country of residence, and be willing to travel across the region.

• Experience benchmarking models and agents for accuracy, cost, and latency.
• Kubernetes or cloud infrastructure knowledge.
• Public technical contributions through talks, writing, or open source.
• Additional European languages.
