Project Engineer (Gas Chromatograph Systems)

What you will do

• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing for Gas Chromatograph systems, including hardware, wiring, communication interfaces, and overall functionality.
• Configure and program GC systems using MaxBasic, implement communication features, and troubleshoot issues during testing.
• Collaborate with Global R&D, Application Engineering, Assembly, and Runout teams to resolve technical issues and meet project milestones.
• Support IECEx, ATEX, and CSA certification and compliance activities, including technical documentation and audits.
• Maintain engineering tools and project documentation while contributing to quality, efficiency, and standardization improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial instrumentation, automation, process control, manufacturing engineering, system integration, testing, commissioning, or a related field.
• Exposure to industrial communication protocols, hazardous-area concepts, analyzer systems, automation systems, or equipment testing.
• Experience or interest in software configuration, programming, technical troubleshooting, SQL, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, AutoCAD, or process analyzer technologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global organization.
