Forward Deployed Engineer - AI & Agentic Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Translate business challenges into agentic AI applications and generative AI use cases for complex customer engagements.
• Build and iterate agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, LLM API integrations, and reusable AI application patterns.
• Develop production-grade Python services with FastAPI, testing, code review, CI/CD, Git, and GitHub.
• Process unstructured data into structured knowledge and work with relational and graph databases such as Postgres and Neo4j.
• Collaborate with platform engineering on deployment, hosting, MLOps, and LLMOps without owning the underlying infrastructure.
• Define AI governance guardrails, instrument applications for observability, modernize legacy workflows, and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including AI/ML integration and API design.
• Strong Python and FastAPI engineering skills with sound software development lifecycle practices.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI Agents SDK, or Google Agent Development Kit, plus MCP.
• Experience building RAG and LLM-based pipelines, working with vector databases, relational and graph databases, and Docker.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI coding copilots such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
• Willingness to travel and work on customer premises as required; a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, image understanding, or OCR.
• Working knowledge of OPA/Rego, LLM governance, data privacy, responsible-use controls, and AI guardrails.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications into AI-enabled workflows and advising diverse enterprise stakeholders.
• A T-shaped profile combining AI engineering expertise with broad enterprise IT and technical consulting knowledge.
