Investment Intern (Gaming)

Location: Helsinki, Finland; hybrid work with most of the time expected in the Helsinki office

hirify.global is a Helsinki-based games company creating mobile and other games while investing in independent teams building games and game technology.

What you will do

• Conduct market research on the gaming market and analyze industry trends.
• Evaluate new investment opportunities and analyze existing direct investments.
• Review hirify.global’s venture fund portfolio as a limited partner.
• Support strategic corporate development projects and ad hoc initiatives.
• Work with investee companies to identify creative ways to support their missions.
• Play and evaluate games from existing and potential investee companies.

Requirements

• Currently studying toward a relevant university degree, such as Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business, or Engineering, with at least 120 ECTS completed.
• Genuine passion for games and interest in venture investing.
• Analytical and strategic mindset with comfort working with financial and market data.
• Basic knowledge of venture investing and familiarity with analytical and presentation tools.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Must already live in Finland and have the right to work in Finland; relocation support is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in gaming, venture capital, private equity, management consulting, investment banking, or a related field.
