Technical Office Manager (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Lead and supervise the technical office team, including engineers, draftsmen, and document controllers.
• Review, verify, and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical submissions.
• Ensure designs and documentation comply with ADNOC standards, specifications, HSE requirements, and Oil & Gas regulations.
• Coordinate technical execution with project managers, site engineers, procurement, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with ADNOC representatives, consultants, and clients on technical approvals, clarifications, design changes, and variations.
• Manage document control, technical reporting, material compliance, and issue resolution to prevent delays and cost overruns.

Requirements

• B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent degree in any discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCM, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with ADNOC projects in the UAE is required or highly preferred, depending on the position.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, UAE statutory requirements, authority approvals, local regulations, construction planning, quality control, HSE, and project schedules.
• Experience with large-scale oil and gas facilities, offshore or onshore facilities, pipelines, terminals, or related infrastructure.
• Excellent written and oral English, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a multicultural, high-pressure project environment.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with ADNOC Group companies, including ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Gas, ADNOC LNG, or ADNOC Drilling.
• Previous UAE or GCC project experience.
• Availability to join the project within a short notice period.
