Sorting Center Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Oversee inbound and outbound processing, parcel sorting, packing, and loading operations.
• Develop operational strategies to improve workflow, efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.
• Manage, train, and mentor sorting center staff while maintaining a productive work environment.
• Monitor sorting accuracy, processing speed, delivery success rates, and other operational KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with transportation, warehousing, and customer service teams; resolve issues and report performance to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of logistics or warehouse management experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience optimizing operations and managing large teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of sorting technologies, warehouse management systems, and logistics processes.
• Leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with safety regulations and quality management principles.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce or express delivery.
• Experience with lean methodologies or Six Sigma.
