Logistics Specialist (Supply Chain)

Location: Milan, Italy; willingness to travel to project sites is required.

Gross annual salary: €42,000 or more, plus an individual or collective performance-based incentive.

hirify.global develops and delivers cable solutions, with this role supporting logistics for transmission projects and bids.

What you will do

• Prepare logistics packages, cost estimates, logistics concepts, tender documentation, and risk assessments for bids.
• Coordinate logistics services and subcontractors across bidding and project execution phases.
• Plan and coordinate the transport of cables and ancillary materials to project sites and intermediate storage areas.
• Align delivery requirements with engineering, installation, commercial, planning, purchasing, and sales teams.
• Prepare requests for quotations and evaluate logistics service offers from a technical perspective.
• Support lessons learned, continuous improvement of logistics flows and packaging design, and implementation of quality and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Fluent Italian and English.
• Academic background in operations, supply chain, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or economics.
• More than three years of experience in supply chain or project logistics.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment with multiple interfaces.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Project, with a proactive approach and strong interest in the industry.
