Technician (Assembly)

What you will do

• Build laser base assemblies and integrate components into final assemblies according to drawings and controlled documents.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and optical assembly, including laser application assembly, collimation, alignment, and testing.
• Use vacuum systems, test equipment, and measurement tools while handling ESD-sensitive components.
• Carry out fiber optics termination, precision cleaning, packing, and completion of electronic production records.
• Train other employees and work with engineering and leadership on new products, processing improvements, and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety, quality, material control, cleanliness, and workmanship standards while supporting changing business needs.

Requirements

• GCE 'O' Level, technical certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience in electrical or electronic work.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy, attention to detail, dexterity with small components, and strong organizational skills.
• Competence with Microsoft packages, spreadsheets or process-control systems, and test equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions, comply with QMEHS requirements, and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
