What you will do

• Vet skills, workflows, and use cases hands-on to ensure they meet high quality standards before deployment.
• Research and experiment with prompting techniques and emerging AI methods to establish best practices.
• Author reference use cases and exemplars that serve as the standard for the global team.
• Collaborate with the Product team to test new capabilities and provide structured feedback.
• Support technical onboarding and training for new Legal Engineers in the region.
• Spend approximately 30% of time on live client work to maintain practical grounding and inform library standards.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with solid practice experience at a leading firm or in-house team.
• Technical prowess with comfort in code or scripting and a deep understanding of AI tool mechanics.
• Habitual user of AI tools with sharp discernment for prompt quality and legal output accuracy.
• Rigorous attention to detail with the ability to perform line-by-line verification against source documents.
• Ability to manage high-throughput workstreams and build scalable processes.
• Must be based in London and able to work on-site.

Nice to have

• Experience building skills, workflows, or automations in a legal AI platform.
• M&A, wider transactional background, or deal coordination experience.
