Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for strategic enterprise customers, from requirements gathering and solution architecture through deployment and ongoing account support.
• Design and build production integrations, API connectors, workflow automations, AI Colleagues, Agent Operating Procedures, and Skills using Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Configure HRIS, ITSM, payroll, directory, authentication, and enterprise systems within customer security and data-residency constraints.
• Author Solution Design Documents, identify scope gaps and blockers, and coordinate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and project leadership.
• Lead client technical discussions, steering committees, escalations, UAT, debugging, and the two-week post-go-live hypercare period.
• Create reusable integration patterns, templates, connector configurations, documentation, and at least three knowledge assets per quarter.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering, professional services, or forward deployed roles.
• Proven experience deploying production-grade software inside enterprise client environments, not only sandboxes.
• Strong Python proficiency and the ability to write production-quality code under real-world time constraints.
• Deep experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth 2.0, SAML/SSO, API key management, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise HR or IT systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle PeopleSoft, UKG, SuccessFactors, or similar.
• Ability to deliver outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving situations without complete requirements.
• Executive presence and confidence leading technical discussions with CIOs, IT Security teams, and senior enterprise stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth SaaS environment where structure was built from ambiguity.
• Current knowledge of enterprise AI deployment patterns, LLM capabilities, agentic frameworks, and integration tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI/LLM products, agentic orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or CrewAI, or RAG-based knowledge systems.
• Background in HR tech, ITSM optimization, or enterprise automation consulting.
• Familiarity with hirify.global’s AIC, AOPs, Skills, and Flow Dashboard.
• Experience creating implementation playbooks and reusable delivery frameworks.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or Solutions Consultants on technical concepts.
