TL;DR
Data Analyst Support Engineer (Aerospace) (Python/R, SQL, Tableau/Power BI): Transforming complex datasets into strategic assets for defense and space programs with an accent on data preparation, statistical analysis, visualization, and data governance. Focus on designing analytical solutions, communicating insights through reports and dashboards, and coaching business functions in data-driven decision-making.
Location: Getafe, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do
- Process data end to end, including collection, cleaning, preparation, and quality assurance.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify insights, draw conclusions, and reduce decision-making bias.
- Design dashboards, charts, and visualizations using clear data storytelling.
- Prepare and present analytical reports for business stakeholders.
- Manage analytical tools and software while supporting data security, privacy, and compliance.
- Coach business functions, collaborate across teams, and share data analysis best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Professional experience in data analysis, data preparation, and working with complex datasets.
- Strong knowledge of statistics and probability, including hypothesis testing, Monte Carlo simulations, expected values, standard errors, the Central Limit Theorem, and confidence intervals.
- Experience with Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikSense.
- Advanced English, with strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical teams, adapt to a networking-based environment, and coach stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing.
- Knowledge of big data technologies or advanced machine learning models.
