Global Controls GPU Network and Facilities Operations Lead (AI)

Nscale is building a vertically integrated, sustainable cloud platform for AI, including data centres, software, and applications.

What you will do

• Coordinate technical inputs across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, controls, networking, security, OEMs, and external partners.
• Contribute to global strategies, reference architectures, engineering standards, and repeatable deployment methods for high-density AI data centres.
• Review and support electrical controls, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLC/RTU architectures, commissioning strategies, failure-mode analysis, and system integration.
• Connect facility controls, telemetry, operations, and GPU network teams to improve monitoring, observability, and response practices.
• Support operational-readiness reviews, MOP/SOP/EOP governance, incident response, resiliency standards, and FOC/site operations.
• Identify dependencies and risks, review technical compliance and constructability, and share lessons learned across global programmes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Controls/Automation Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, electrical engineering, controls systems, data centre operations, GPU infrastructure, or comparable technical environments.
• Experience supporting global or multi-site engineering, operations, commissioning, or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong understanding of high-density power systems, medium- and low-voltage distribution, UPS, backup generation, and advanced cooling systems.
• Experience with BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, commissioning practices, and reliability engineering.
• Working knowledge of GPU fabrics, high-bandwidth fibre networks, or high-performance-compute environments and their interfaces with facility infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering designation or equivalent registration.
• Project Management Professional certification or equivalent project-delivery experience.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU architectures, large-scale cluster operations, or next-generation compute platforms.
• Experience in owner’s engineering for large-scale or rapidly deployed data centre developments.
• Familiarity with OT networking, telemetry, observability, and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.
