SVP, Data Centre (Design & Construction) - APAC (AI Infrastructure): Building and scaling Nscale’s multi-country data centre construction platform across APAC with an accent on hyperscale infrastructure, capital deployment, and operational reliability. Focus on standardizing design and delivery, managing complex supply chains and contracts, and commissioning high-density compute facilities with power and liquid-cooling systems.

What you will do
- Define and implement the APAC-wide construction delivery model, including governance, standards, processes, and organizational structure.
- Lead a portfolio of concurrent hyperscale and edge data centre builds across multiple APAC countries and sites.
- Manage multi-billion-dollar capital programmes, regional procurement strategies, supplier frameworks, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution.
- Build a resilient contractor and supplier ecosystem while mitigating constraints involving power equipment, cooling systems, and labour.
- Integrate engineering and product requirements, including high-density compute, liquid cooling, modular construction, and standardized components.
- Build a senior regional leadership team and establish risk, compliance, commissioning, quality, and operational-readiness standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- 15–20 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure, mission-critical environments, or data centre construction.
- Proven leadership of multi-country, multi-billion-dollar capital programmes and experience scaling delivery platforms.
- Strong experience across APAC markets, including regulatory, labour, and supply chain dynamics.
- Deep technical knowledge of data centre power, cooling, redundancy, and commissioning.
- Extensive experience structuring and negotiating large-scale contracts and supplier frameworks.
