MS Head of Customer Fulfilment (Biopharma)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end Order to Cash and COMET order-to-serve processes to ensure timely fulfilment and process adherence.
• Lead customer fulfilment operations, including customer support, order and claim reconciliation, customer engagement, and outsourced back-office governance.
• Optimize inventory, stock-in-trade, SISO, VMI replenishment, and backorder prioritization to reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and carrying costs.
• Streamline S&OE, S&OP, forecasting, logistics, and distribution processes, applying lean principles to improve OTIF performance.
• Monitor KPIs, conduct root-cause analysis and logistics audits, support month-end closing, and develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports while building a performance-oriented and inclusive team culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of experience across customer fulfilment activities, ideally in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent English and the ability to work onsite in Shanghai.
• Advanced experience in S&OE management, customer fulfilment strategy, trade terms, carrier and 3PL management, and transversal collaboration.
• Experience with SAP, CCM, MS Office, analytics, project management, scenario planning, risk analysis, and problem solving.
• Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, team facilitation, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of upstream and downstream biopharma processes and the local trade environment.
• Experience with customer experience principles, cost-to-serve finance, external customer engagement, and fulfilment improvement tracking.
