EMEA Finance Manager

Location: Galway, Ireland. Applicants must currently and legally reside and work in Ireland; international relocation and remote work outside Ireland are not considered.

What you will do

• Manage Record to Report activities for a portfolio of EMEA companies, including IFRS month-end close and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee statutory compliance, taxation, VAT accounting, financial reporting, and audit processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
• Build relationships with finance and non-finance functions and maintain a customer-focused service culture.
• Standardize processes, implement new systems, and drive continuous improvement across EMEA Finance Shared Services.
• Support the integration of new entities and participate in global shared-services projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience in a multinational organization, preferably in a shared-services environment.
• Strong IFRS and local GAAP knowledge, with experience in statutory compliance and financial reporting.
• Experience in performance management, team leadership, mentoring, or resource coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline, plus a recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and global consolidation tools, preferably OneStream.
• Excellent English and legal authorization to reside and work in Ireland are required.
