Software Asset Management Consultant (Software Licensing/SAM): Supporting customers with software lifecycle management, licensing analysis, procurement, and compliance initiatives with an accent on software inventory, entitlement data, and cost optimization. Focus on analyzing licensing risks, improving software compliance, supporting renewals and sourcing, and coordinating customer, partner, and internal stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Support Software Lifecycle Management engagements, including onboarding, customer transitions, and project delivery.
  • Analyze software inventory, entitlements, and licensing data for compliance and optimization assessments.
  • Recommend improvements to software compliance, licensing efficiency, and cost management.
  • Support software procurement, contract renewals, licensing inquiries, and sourcing activities across multiple publishers.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to customer reviews, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Full professional Japanese proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, procurement, IT support, consulting, or customer-facing technology roles.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting software inventory, licensing, procurement, and compliance data.
  • Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

  • Working-level English proficiency.
