Senior Consultant (Market Research)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary Customer Success contact for Japanese clients operating overseas or expanding into international markets and categories.
• Own client communications, requests, business reviews, presentations, and follow-ups from initiation through resolution.
• Translate client priorities into actionable plans and use NIQ data, tools, and standardized materials to support strategic decisions.
• Coordinate with regional and cross-functional teams to resolve data quality, coverage, delivery, and service issues.
• Support multi-market inquiries by validating data availability, definitions, methodologies, scope, ownership, and timelines.
• Drive platform onboarding and adoption while improving recurring workflows through documentation, knowledge sharing, and AI-powered tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional or academic experience.
• Experience or strong interest in Customer Success, consulting, analytics, market research, sales support, or account management.
• Professional proficiency in Japanese and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly, manage multiple priorities, and ensure timely follow-through.
• Ability to collaborate across cultures, geographies, and time zones.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, plus comfort with AI-powered and digital productivity tools.
