Lead Qlik Engineer (Qlik)

Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States; hybrid work with attendance at a hirify.global office three days per week, including at least one Monday or Friday.

What you will do

• Develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Qlik Sense applications throughout the application lifecycle.
• Create Qlik scripts, data models, transformations, and data pipelines integrating multiple enterprise data sources.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Resolve data, application, reload, and performance issues in production.
• Drive complex initiatives involving Qlik Cloud, automation, modern data architecture, and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, platform administrators, data teams, and technology partners.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Qlik development experience, including Qlik Sense application development.
• Strong Qlik scripting, data modeling, data transformation, data pipeline development, and SQL skills.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources and independently delivering technical solutions.
• Experience with development, testing, deployment, production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science or a related required program.
• 6–10 years of general professional experience and strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Qlik Cloud or Qlik SaaS development and administration experience.
• Experience migrating or modernizing Qlik applications for cloud environments.
• Qlik Application Automation, workflow automation, Qlik Data Gateway, REST APIs, or systems integration experience.
• Git, CI/CD, automation, DevOps, cloud security, identity and access management, or role-based access control experience.
• Experience with modern cloud platforms, data architecture, and additional Qlik capabilities.
