Capital Markets Business Data Analytics Manager (SQL/Tableau)

Salary: $111,408–$189,738 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Associates and Analysts on the Capital Markets Data team.
• Own Capital Markets data, analytics, and management reporting initiatives, including documentation of data sources, calculations, and business definitions.
• Drive automation of data mining, reporting tasks, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis.
• Develop executive-level reports identifying trends, opportunities, exceptions, and areas requiring management attention.
• Query application databases and the bank’s data warehouse to prepare reports for management, risk functions, auditors, and regulators.
• Evaluate reporting processes and improve accuracy by eliminating, consolidating, or automating duplicative and manual reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services or banking.
• 8+ years of data analysis experience, including database extraction, visualization, and ETL tools.
• 5+ years of management experience and 5+ years working in a financial services business line such as Capital Markets or Corporate Banking.
• Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Access, Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, reporting tools, and data warehouses.
• Knowledge of banking, client relationship management, risk management, and complex data sources.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of bank back-office processes and systems.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets products including FX, interest rate derivatives, syndications, trade finance, and supply chain finance.
• Programming experience with Java Server Pages and scripts.
