Data Scientist – Technology and Enterprise Operations First Line Risk

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States of America; four days onsite and one day working from home per week

Salary: $136,000–$226,600 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop analytics, metric validation, reporting, data visualization, and process automation practices.
• Design, deliver, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards, reports, templates, and visualization standards.
• Build descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive reporting to identify trends, outliers, and actionable insights.
• Query, structure, transform, and model data for dashboards, analytics, validation, and automation using SQL and programming languages.
• Use Microsoft Copilot, Power BI Copilot, Power Automate, and Python to automate reporting, improve data quality, and strengthen validation.
• Partner with data stakeholders and maintain risk controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience including 7 years of related experience.
• At least 1 year of managerial, supervisory, or work leadership experience.
• Experience with at least one data visualization tool and with designing advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Expert knowledge of data visualization approaches and experience applying data storytelling.
• Experience using SQL to analyze, extract, and transform data.
• Experience with data management, data quality assurance, metric or KRI validation, model validation, data lineage, and control effectiveness testing is preferred.
