Yield Operations Specialist (Adtech)

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia; hybrid working with remote flexibility. Full-time Australian working rights are required.

What you will do

• Optimise publisher-side auctions across Google Ad Manager, Prebid, Amazon TAM, and related adtech tools.
• Investigate live-page performance issues using reporting platforms, logs, network calls, and browser console tools.
• Develop hypotheses, run A/B experiments and controlled tests, and interpret the results.
• Create reusable optimisation playbooks, runbooks, onboarding checks, and publisher-specific experiments.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, Commercial, and Customer teams to improve monetisation tooling and feature adoption.
• Support evaluations of SSP, identity, and measurement vendors, including trials and integrations.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of ad serving and programmatic advertising, including auctions, deals, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to define problems, run experiments, interpret results, and document actionable recommendations.
• Practical debugging skills involving logs, network calls, browser console tools, and live web pages.
• Experience in programmatic yield or an adjacent analytics role; familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Prebid, or Amazon TAM is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting processes and presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
