Senior People Science Analyst (12 month FTC)

Location: London, with an average of 2 days per week in the local hirify.global office

What you will do

• Lead customer discovery and own bespoke research studies from business-question definition through study design, delivery and recommendations.
• Design, clean, combine and explore hirify.global and customer-supplied datasets using robust, reusable and privacy-preserving methods.
• Conduct statistical analyses across engagement, employee lifecycle, performance and team-effectiveness data to generate actionable and predictive insights.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, synthesis and communication while validating outputs and maintaining methodological rigour.
• Collaborate with People Scientists, Customer Success Managers, Account Managers and HR leaders on complex analytics projects and insight reports.
• Develop reusable methods, templates and thought leadership materials, communicating findings through clear reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in organisational psychology, quantitative social science, economics or a related field, or equivalent applied research experience.
• Applied experience with quantitative research on people or workforce data, ideally connecting survey results to business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of inferential statistics, including regression, multi-level and longitudinal analysis.
• Working proficiency in R and experience cleaning and combining messy datasets from multiple sources.
• Experience owning complex analytical work end to end, managing scope and timelines, and presenting findings to HR and executive audiences.
• Practical understanding of AI tools and workflows, with the judgement to improve efficiency without compromising data protection or methodological rigour.
