TL;DR
MAP Installation Specialist (Aircraft Installation) (Aerospace): Analyzing and resolving aircraft assembly, testing, and delivery non-conformities for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 programmes with an accent on mechanical systems, cabin and cargo installation, and electrical equipment installation. Focus on assessing aircraft safety, defining rework and repair solutions, supporting operational tests, and solving recurrent manufacturing issues through design and process improvements.

Location: Tianjin, China; requires business travel in Europe and flexible working hours with standby duties and overtime during evenings and weekends.

What you will do

  • Represent Engineering and Chief Engineering in the A320 Family Final Assembly Line and A330/A350 completion activities in Tianjin.
  • Analyze non-conformities identified during aircraft assembly, testing, and delivery, and provide troubleshooting instructions.
  • Assess deviations, define rework or repair solutions, and confirm the final acceptability of completed work.
  • Support mechanical system, cabin and cargo, electrical, and equipment installation across relevant ATA chapters.
  • Provide aircraft safety assessments, temporary aircraft definitions, and technical justifications for customers.
  • Develop long-term solutions for recurring non-conformities and coordinate with design, technical authority, and engineering support communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, mechanics, structures, electricity, aerodynamics, physics, or automatism and control.
  • At least five years of experience in the aviation industry, mechanical systems, electrical or equipment installation, or cabin upgrading.
  • CoC delegations for multiple ATA chapters and broad process and technical expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft design or maintenance and relevant hirify.global processes, with the ability to understand engineering documents and solve technical problems.
  • Fluent English at negotiation level, both written and spoken.
  • Logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, mentoring and influencing abilities, resilience, and a customer-focused approach.

Nice to have

  • CAAC, EASA, or FAA maintenance license.
