Production Scheduler - Contract Manufacturing

What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed finite production schedules for the Yongtuo manufacturing partner by SKU, production line, and shift, day, or week.
• Translate supply plans and customer demand signals into feasible schedules aligned with supplier capacity, labor availability, yields, run rates, changeovers, and operating constraints.
• Coordinate with supplier production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve delays, downtime, line restrictions, quality holds, and short-term disruptions.
• Monitor execution against plan, identify service and delivery risks, and communicate recovery actions and schedule changes to internal stakeholders.
• Perform what-if analysis for capacity changes, demand volatility, material constraints, quality events, and priority order changes.
• Maintain supplier scheduling master data and support root cause analysis for performance issues involving line fill rate, OTIF, and production attainment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, supply planning, or manufacturing planning.
• Strong understanding of MRP, finite scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Experience with contract or outsourced manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Ability to influence external partners and internal stakeholders without direct reporting authority, supported by strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Chinese are required.

• APICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP.
