Technical Service Engineer (Medical Equipment)

Location: Onsite in Hanoi, Vietnam, with frequent travel to customer sites across Northern Vietnam

What you will do

• Install, commission, test, and hand over medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, functional checks, troubleshooting, and repairs under the guidance of a lead Service Engineer.
• Provide basic technical guidance to customers and handle customer complaints by collecting and reporting relevant information.
• Prepare service tools, test equipment, materials, installation checklists, and service reports.
• Support equipment demonstrations, evaluations, technical proposals, and after-sales activities.
• Report technical feedback and daily or weekly service activities to senior engineers and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or engineering degree in Medical Equipment, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in biomedical engineering, technical service, medical devices, hospital equipment, or a related area.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations, standards, technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Good English skills required.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work at customer sites required.

• Specialized training or certifications in medical equipment servicing.
