Manufacturing Engineer (Networking)

Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam; onsite

What you will do

• Drive SMT process development, manufacturing quality, yield, scrap reduction, and process improvement with contract manufacturing partners.
• Lead product failure debugging, line-stop and quality-issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and defect-reduction activities.
• Improve manufacturing test processes, test yields, capacity, cycle times, efficiency, consistency, and cost avoidance.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to manufacturing test engineers, debug technicians, and production personnel.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Platform Engineering, Manufacturing, and contract manufacturing partners on change orders, test infrastructure, and factory readiness.
• Establish technical direction through the evaluation of new test technologies and support new product launches.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment, preferably with high-mix, low-volume PCBA and box-build production.
• BS or MS degree.
• Strong leadership experience, including managing, recruiting, developing, and coaching employees.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Experience with production metrics, yield management, product quality, test capacity management, and cycle-time improvement.
• Expertise in ECO, BOM, deviation processes, DFx, complex system-level debugging, root-cause analysis, and manufacturing quality and reliability practices.

• Experience with Agile.
• Experience with networking products related to routing, switching, and data centers.
• Strong Excel and project-reporting skills.
