Senior Associate, Venue Development

Location: Onsite at the Downtown Los Angeles-based office, Los Angeles, California, United States. The role requires working onsite in LA; LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.

Annual base salary: $73,000–$98,000.

LA28 is delivering the venues and infrastructure for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games across the Los Angeles region.

What you will do

• Support design, engineering, construction, renovation, and venue development across multiple concurrent projects.
• Track project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and delivery progress.
• Prepare regular status reports and maintain project documentation, drawings, and records.
• Coordinate venue owners, city agencies, consultants, delivery partners, and senior stakeholders across Los Angeles.
• Help align competing priorities and resolve scope, budget, and delivery questions.
• Support operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games as the role evolves.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in construction, engineering, architecture, venue delivery, or project delivery environments.
• Working knowledge of design and construction delivery, including budgets, schedules, and risk management.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects and diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong organization, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles is required.

Nice to have

• Los Angeles or California market experience.
• Familiarity with permitting, building codes, and bonding requirements.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Experience with large-scale sports or event venue projects.
• Strong local stakeholder and consultant relationships.
