Imaging Operator 3 KR (Digital Print)

Location: St Charles, Illinois, United States; onsite production role with first-shift and overnight shift options.

Pay: $26.25–$34.00 per hour, with possible overtime, shift differential, call-in, and standby pay.

What you will do

• Operate high-resolution variable print and proprietary imaging equipment.
• Program, prepare, set up, and release print jobs from the production queue.
• Adjust image positioning, color quality, resolution, perforations, folds, feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing.
• Monitor output quality and diagnose and correct problems affecting print quality and production timelines.
• Maintain production logs, delivery manifests, and inventory levels.
• Order inks, chemical solutions, blankets, rollers, paper, tabs, and other production supplies.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment setup, adjustment, and operation.
• Ability to diagnose, solve, and correct equipment and print-quality problems.
• Advanced knowledge of color theory and color correction.
• Excellent knowledge of digital print file manipulation and file formats.
• Excellent ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing according to job specifications.
• Ability to train, instruct, and communicate with other employees.
