Maintenance Assistant

Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA; onsite at the Breakers at Edgewater Beach community.

Salary: USD 20–29 per hour, full-time.

What you will do

• Complete maintenance work orders throughout the community.
• Perform repairs and preparation work in apartments before move-in.
• Order and organize maintenance supplies.
• Carry out installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, and general equipment.
• Perform snow removal and landscaping projects.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• General mechanical or electrical knowledge is preferred.
• Clear and positive communication skills.
• Self-assured, proactive approach and ability to work independently.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required unless an applicable exemption applies.
