Imaging Operator 3 - KR (Digital Print)

Location: St. Charles, Illinois, USA; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $26.25–$34.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate high-resolution variable-print and inkjet imaging equipment.
• Program, prepare, release, and monitor print jobs through the production queue.
• Adjust image positioning, color quality, resolution, perforations, folds, feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing.
• Inspect output for correctness and image quality and diagnose operating issues affecting production quality and timeliness.
• Maintain production logs and delivery manifests.
• Order printing supplies and maintain inventory levels.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment setup, adjustment, and operation.
• Ability to diagnose, solve, and correct equipment and production problems.
• Advanced knowledge of color theory and color correction for customer specifications.
• Excellent knowledge of digital print file manipulation and file formats.
• Excellent ability to set up feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing according to job specifications.
• Relevant military experience includes Navy Lithographer, Marine Combat Lithographer, or Army Printing and Bindery Specialist.
