Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2027) (AI)

Location: In-person in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Sunnyvale, CA; Los Angeles, CA; or Seattle, WA. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; F-1 students are eligible with CPT, while J-1 visas are not supported.

Salary: $107,400–$158,000 USD annually, localized according to employee work location.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and ship technical elements with support from mentors, managers, and team members.
• Collaborate with the team to solve real problems for customers and contribute directly to business impact.
• Learn about the systems and product areas supported by the team.
• Participate in intern programming, including leadership speaker sessions and social events.
• Present summer learnings in a final internship presentation.

Requirements

• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Graduating between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028 and available to start in May or June 2027.
• No more than two years of full-time work experience.
• Experience with databases, algorithms, data structures, version control, clean code, and unit testing.
• Proficient experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Python, Java, or Kotlin.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; the internship is hosted in person at a listed U.S. office.

Nice to have

• Previous software engineering internship or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience using and responsibly evaluating AI-powered development tools.
• Experience with system efficiency, scalability, stability, monitoring, live deployments, continuous integration, APIs, service-oriented architecture, or large-scale web applications.
