Summer 2027 Intern – Enterprise Technology – Engineer (Software, Data, Infrastructure)

Location: Remote within the continental U.S.; in-person onboarding in Bloomington, Illinois, with additional events in Bloomington, Dunwoody, Richardson, or Tempe

Salary: $28.00/hour plus a $2,000 stipend

What you will do

• Contribute to software, data, and infrastructure initiatives within Enterprise Technology.
• Support research and development involving emerging technologies and business models.
• Develop or enhance web, mobile, API, database, and cloud-based solutions.
• Work with technologies such as programming languages, containers, infrastructure automation, and data analytics tools.
• Collaborate in person and virtually with technology teams and participate in program events.

Requirements

• Be a full-time college or university student, generally in the freshman or sophomore year, with at least one semester remaining after summer 2027.
• Study Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Statistics, Data, or a related field.
• Have completed a high school diploma or GED.
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. immediately; U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not available.
• Reside within the continental U.S. for the full internship and commit to the complete 10-week schedule with minimal disruptions.
• Demonstrate communication, teamwork, leadership, initiative, and willingness to learn new languages and frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with object-oriented programming such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Knowledge of web development, databases, mobile development, APIs, AWS, Terraform, containers, or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AI and machine learning, data analytics, Salesforce, blockchain, or CI/CD.
