TL;DR
Senior Engineer / Technical Lead (Java): Leading software engineers and delivering enterprise software solutions using Java, Spring, Oracle, web services, Vue, and DevOps with an accent on technical leadership, code quality, security, and operational standards. Focus on designing and reviewing code, mentoring engineers, managing delivery risks, and coordinating cross-functional software projects.

What you will do
- Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and delivering software solutions.
- Remain hands-on with software development, including designing, developing, debugging, and reviewing code.
- Use Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic, SOAP and REST web services, Vue, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Red Hat Linux, and DevOps tools.
- Work with architects and cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Mentor team members through one-on-one meetings, performance assessments, and professional development guidance.
- Monitor project progress, resolve delivery risks, and support continuous improvement; participation in application support and an on-call roster may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Typically 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Experience managing software teams or projects.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and software development methodology.
- Strong programming, debugging, communication, team leadership, and software project management skills.
Nice to have
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience.
- Advanced degree, relevant certifications, or additional training.
