Medical Billing Account Manager (RCM)

Location: Philippines; remote work during standard U.S. business hours

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking support for medical billing and revenue cycle management operations.

What you will do

• Manage claim submissions, corrected and secondary claims, claim queues, and payer-specific requirements.
• Review EOBs and ERAs to identify denials, rejections, payment discrepancies, underpayments, and non-payment reasons.
• Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims, apply billing modifiers, and perform claims scrubbing before submission.
• Follow up with insurance carriers through payer portals, monitor claim status, and support collections and aging-account management.
• Maintain accurate claim notes, billing records, account documentation, and client communications.
• Identify recurring billing issues and support productivity, quality, turnaround-time, and compliance targets.

Requirements

• Professional Revenue Cycle Management and hands-on medical billing experience in a production environment.
• Knowledge of claim submission, denial management, claims follow-up, collections, billing modifiers, and claims scrubbing.
• Ability to interpret EOBs and ERAs and review diagnosis and procedure code relationships.
• Experience with insurance payer portals, medical billing systems, EHR systems, or practice management systems.
• Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage high claim volumes independently.
• Excellent English communication skills and availability during standard U.S. business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-volume medical billing environments or with Texas-based medical practices.
• Experience with insurance verification, client billing accounts, denial resolution, collections, and direct payer communication.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks, Aprima, Medisoft, Veradigm, Nextech, CureMD, Office Practicum, or NextGen.
• Previous remote work experience.
