Revenue Cycle Systems Resource - Payor Setup Specialist (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Support accounts receivable functions and partner with revenue cycle resources to monitor AR and develop action plans.
• Improve agency policies, procedures, internal controls, and reporting practices related to revenue and accounts receivable.
• Provide expert support and training for software systems and processes used in home health, hospice, and home care.
• Develop and use software reports to track AR metrics, trends, and workflow performance.
• Route and troubleshoot claim and EMR issues through ticketing software.
• Manage payor builds and updates for acquisitions, branch expansions, startups, and new contracts, while maintaining payor portals and clearinghouse access.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounts receivable experience in home health and hospice lines of business.
• Experience with Homecare Homebase and Waystar.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle systems, billing, collections, revenue transactions, and accounts receivable workflows.
• Ability to assist, train, and support business office managers across multiple sites.
• Ability to monitor internal controls, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain accurate reporting procedures.
