Location: Japan; field-based role with approximately 40–60% travel

What you will do

  • Lead compliant scientific engagement with external experts, investigators, practitioners, and researchers in Hematology.
  • Gather and communicate insights from clinical practice and congress activities.
  • Own complex field medical activities aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
  • Maintain expert, investigator, and engagement-priority mapping.
  • Deliver disease-state education and contribute to evidence generation, medical education, and scientific communication.
  • Lead selected Medical Affairs projects and support investigator-initiated studies and clinical-trial activities.

Requirements

  • MD, PhD, or PharmD preferred; a Master's degree with substantial Hematology experience may be considered.
  • Deep scientific expertise in Hematology and solid tumors; experience in hemato-oncology or immuno-Hematology is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical, clinical research, clinical practice, Medical Affairs, or related scientific roles.
  • Strong scientific communication, presentation, relationship-building, teamwork, judgment, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience working with academic and clinical experts and in matrix organizations.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English is required.

Nice to have

  • Prior Field Medical or Medical Science Liaison experience in Hematology.
  • Experience supporting evidence generation, medical education, scientific communication, or Medical Affairs projects.
  • Partnership experience.
