What you will do

  • Lead medical affairs activities and develop annual and long-range strategies for hematology.
  • Generate, evaluate, and communicate scientific evidence for healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Lead and develop the medical affairs team, including capability building, training, and career planning.
  • Build relationships with external experts and support field-based medical capabilities.
  • Support clinical research, affiliate studies, global research projects, and development program delivery.
  • Review promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance while managing the assigned budget.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree such as a medical degree or PhD; relevant specialty experience is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of oncology experience and 3 years of hematology experience are required.
  • Pharmaceutical industry medical affairs experience.
  • Experience with pre-launch and launch phases of a new product or indication.
  • Clinical research experience or knowledge.
  • Leadership, strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and budget management skills.

Nice to have

  • Management experience.
  • Relevant specialty experience.
