Senior Compensation Consultant (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States and Canada; travel for in-person engagement may be required.

Salary: USA-based roles: $136,000–$197,000 USD annual base salary. Canada-based roles: $112,000–$162,000 CAD annual base salary.

What you will do

• Support annual merit, promotion, and equity compensation cycles from planning through completion.
• Validate compensation data, maintain models, and prepare analyses, reports, and recommendations.
• Coordinate new-hire, promotion, and internal-move equity awards with Finance, Legal, Accounting, and People teams.
• Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, job evaluation, and internal equity analyses.
• Provide compensation guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders.
• Improve processes, pay equity analysis, program documentation, tools, and templates while handling sensitive information discreetly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of compensation experience, preferably in a fast-growing or global organization or consulting firm.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Confident use of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
• Experience managing compensation processes or projects from planning through implementation.
• Clear written and verbal communication, strong organization, attention to detail, independent judgment, and follow-through.

Nice to have

• Experience with compensation surveys, market data, equity administration platforms, international compensation, executive compensation, or pay equity.
