Domain Lead IT Project Services

Location: Porto; candidates must be based in Portugal or Serbia.

What you will do

• Lead and develop Project Managers and Business Analysts, providing coaching, feedback, mentoring, and growth opportunities.
• Balance capacity across concurrent projects, resolve conflicts, and remove delivery impediments.
• Personally lead selected strategic projects from inception through operational handover as a Senior Project Manager.
• Establish pragmatic project governance, including goals, plans, staffing, budget oversight, stakeholder matrices, and reporting.
• Manage project risks, backlogs, demand prioritisation, portfolio work in progress, and cross-team collaboration.
• Use Azure DevOps, OnePlan, and Freshservice for planning, portfolio management, demand, and service management.

Requirements

• Degree in IT or computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional project management experience, ideally in IT or cross-domain initiatives.
• Experience leading and coaching teams, preferably with people-management responsibility.
• Hands-on knowledge of modern iterative project management approaches and comfort working in technical environments.
• Strong facilitation, communication, organisation, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Confident English communication and residence in Portugal or Serbia are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, OnePlan, or comparable portfolio and backlog tools.
• Knowledge of structured demand and prioritisation practices.
• German language skills.
