Member Service Representative (Full-Time) - El Cajon

Location: El Cajon, California, United States (on-site). The role may require working at or transferring permanently to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance.

Salary: $23.75–$27.55 per hour

What you will do

• Provide counseling on deposit, lending, retirement, estate, and credit/debit card products.
• Open and maintain member accounts, loans, and other financial products.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and other routine transactions.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and service requests.
• Identify cross-service opportunities and strengthen member relationships through education.
• Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely while complying with applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to build effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tact.
• Research, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and sound judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-production, changing environment.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently and adapt to evolving technologies.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday according to business needs.
• Ability to work on-site in El Cajon and potentially at neighboring branches.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of deposit and loan products, services, and operational procedures.
• Customer service experience, preferably in banking or another financial institution.
