Principal Solution Architect (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Salary: CA$238,000–CA$340,000 + equity in Canada; US$171,500–US$245,000 + equity in the United States

What you will do

• Build and scale hirify.global’s Professional Services practice across AI, security, enterprise integration, and partner delivery.
• Develop repeatable reference architectures for self-hosted and air-gapped deployments, MCP and AI agent environments, identity integrations, and secure software supply chains.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture engagements for enterprise customers and strategic partners.
• Design and guide implementation of MCP server and client architectures, tool orchestration, observability, and secure agentic AI deployments.
• Translate architectures into customer-facing collateral, statements of work, delivery models, and repeatable success patterns.
• Align Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Partnerships teams while feeding enterprise insights into product and services strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Professional Services Solution Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar role at a SaaS, infrastructure, or consulting company.
• Experience architecting self-hosted and air-gapped environments, including local image registries, offline toolchains, network-isolated Kubernetes clusters, and regulated infrastructure.
• Enterprise identity integration experience with Okta, Azure AD, LDAP/Active Directory, OIDC, SAML, SSO, and RBAC in complex multi-tenant environments.
• Working knowledge of MCP, agentic AI toolchains, LLM deployment, AI/ML workflows, and secure containerized deployment patterns.
• Deep understanding of container and software supply chain security, including SBOMs, image signing, attestations, vulnerability management, runtime governance, and AI supply chain security.
• Ability to lead executive architecture discussions, influence stakeholders without formal authority, and deliver services engagements tied to customer value and revenue growth.

Nice to have

• Experience architecting AI platforms and LLM deployment pipelines in large enterprises.
• Experience enabling system integrators, consultancies, or partner ecosystems.
• Consulting experience with Fortune 500 customers in financial services, healthcare, or government.
• Experience leading AI security architecture engagements involving model provenance, artifact signing, secrets management, access controls, and runtime isolation.
