Associate Director, Performance & Portfolio Management

Location: North Chicago, Illinois; 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. A 100% remote option is not available.

Salary: $141,500–$268,500 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the Global Supply Chain Strategic Management Office performance and portfolio management team.
• Manage strategic projects and programs throughout their lifecycle, including planning, governance, risks, decisions, and delivery.
• Build project charters, work plans, status reports, stakeholder engagement plans, and decision-making models.
• Develop governance frameworks for resource allocation, investment decisions, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
• Create performance scorecards and dashboards, identify underperforming initiatives, and recommend recovery or pivot actions.
• Advise project sponsors, business leads, functional leaders, and senior management on project direction and strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience and/or business excellence methodology experience in global companies.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives.
• Proven leadership, project planning, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Experience implementing business and technology initiatives, ideally in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or enterprise transformation.
• Experience working in a global, complex, matrix organization.
