Principal Engineer (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Own the architecture, engineering standards, technical strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the OnePRM Salesforce platform.
• Design and implement Patient Services CRM solutions supporting more than 2,200 users and over 2,000 patients daily.
• Lead modernization, migration, integration, workflow automation, and platform evolution across Salesforce and connected enterprise systems.
• Manage up to three engineering PODs and blended internal and vendor teams across architecture, development, QA automation, and DevOps.
• Drive CI/CD/CT modernization, automated testing, code quality, release readiness, and compliance controls.
• Oversee technical debt, vendor performance, delivery execution, operational support, and approximately $2 million in budget stewardship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, master's degree with 7 years, or PhD with 3 years.
• Strong experience planning, architecting, developing, integrating, and operating enterprise CRM solutions on Salesforce.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, workflow automation, data architecture, migration, and quality management.
• Expertise in REST and SOAP APIs, middleware integrations, system interfaces, enterprise integration patterns, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, Salesforce Well-Architected concepts, DevOps, CI/CD/CT, and large-scale technical initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for working with senior leaders, business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and vendor partners.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience.
• Experience with Salesforce Data 360, Agentforce, and Agentic software engineering using Agentforce Vibes.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, consultant, data architecture, integration architecture, or architect-level certifications.
