Salesforce Developer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle, United States. Hybrid work is required, with staff expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Apex triggers, services, selectors, batch and queueable jobs, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation.
• Design Salesforce quote-to-cash infrastructure covering product catalogs, pricing, quoting, approvals, orders, amendments, renewals, and co-termination.
• Extend CPQ capabilities with custom pricing, quote-calculation logic, user experiences, and agentic selling functionality.
• Build integrations with billing, provisioning, finance, and ERP systems such as Stripe, Metronome, and NetSuite.
• Support product and pricing launches, release management, testing, documentation, and control processes.
• Use Claude and internal AI development tools for coding and code review while partnering with RevOps, Finance, Legal, Deal Desk, Product, Engineering, and DevOps.

Requirements

• Hands-on production Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, LWC, and Flow.
• Experience building or extending Salesforce CPQ and quote-to-cash functionality, including product and pricing models, approvals, amendments, renewals, and custom package code.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with billing, ERP, or provisioning systems using APIs, middleware, or direct callouts.
• Fluency with SFDX, source-controlled metadata, sandbox-to-production releases, peer review, testing, and documentation.
• Active experience with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to validate and guide their output.
• Basic SQL skills and effective communication with sales, finance, product, and engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I and II, Advanced Administrator, or Architect certifications.
• Experience with Salesforce platform constraints, CPQ performance, governor limits, bulkification, sharing, and recursion control.
• Experience implementing or re-platforming CPQ solutions and working with usage-based pricing.
• Experience with Stripe, Metronome, Oracle, bookings, invoicing, or revenue recognition.
• Experience scaling Salesforce in a high-growth go-to-market environment.
