Lead Local Operations Manager (Solid Tumor Oncology)

Location: Remote in the United States; Raritan, New Jersey is also listed. Up to 10% travel is expected, including overnight stays.

Salary: $109,000–$174,800 per year.

What you will do

• Own US site-level operational delivery for assigned oncology clinical trials.
• Lead local trial planning, recruitment strategy, risk management, budget forecasting, and delivery of high-quality data.
• Coordinate and mentor Local Operations Managers in a player-coach capacity.
• Shape US operational strategy and integrate site insights into global feasibility and startup planning.
• Serve as the primary US interface to global trial leadership and represent local operations at investigator meetings and governance forums.
• Monitor operational KPIs, resolve complex contracting and recruitment escalations, and drive corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in clinical trial operations, trial management, site management, or clinical monitoring, including complex or multi-site trials.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end clinical trial delivery, including feasibility, startup, enrollment, quality oversight, and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, regulatory requirements, inspection readiness, compliance management, audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Leadership experience coaching, mentoring, and guiding local operations or site-facing teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and the local country language.

• Oncology clinical trial operations experience.
• Advanced scientific or clinical degree.
• Experience shaping country-level or trial-level operational strategy, including site selection and enrollment forecasting.
