Regional Clinical Specialist Mid-Atlantic, Virginia

Location: Remote in Virginia, United States; regular domestic travel of 50–70% within the region and other regions as needed.

Salary: $99,800–$185,500 annually, plus potential sales incentives or discretionary bonuses and other long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Provide regional case coverage and clinical support for Vascade, EnsoETM, and future products across vascular closure and esophageal cooling markets.
• Support Account Managers and customers during complex procedures, troubleshoot product use, and promote strong clinical outcomes.
• Educate clinicians and staff on product applications, clinical data, procedures, best practices, and appropriate product usage.
• Support product launches, clinical trials, simulations, onboarding, and training activities across the region and nationally when needed.
• Serve as a regional expert and mentor for Clinical Specialists, leading clinical calls and contributing educational content.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical teams, and regional leadership to identify customer needs, communicate account insights, and support regional business goals.

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent medical training in health science; registrations or certifications such as RT, RCIS, Surgical Technologist, RN, NP, or First Assistant are strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of direct healthcare experience in settings such as a cath lab, interventional radiology, electrophysiology, vascular care, or cardiac surgery, plus 5 years of medical device industry experience.
• Strong clinical orientation and experience with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular procedures, or cardiac surgery.
• Expert knowledge of interventional product portfolios, clinical indications, competitive products, clinical data, and the medical device market.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, and customer communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a dynamic regional schedule.
• Ability to travel domestically 50–70% and provide clinical coverage across the assigned region and other regions as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with HAE, vessel closure, clinical education, and staff training.
• Experience working with interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and financial implications of medical device performance for health systems.
