Maternal Child Visiting Professor (Nursing Education)

Location: Las Vegas, NV, USA

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach maternal-child nursing in clinical settings within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision of students delivering nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with students’ knowledge, skills, and learning needs.
• Grade coursework, examinations, laboratory assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work.
• Coordinate with clinical agencies, course coordinators, and academic leadership regarding student and site issues.

Requirements

• Expertise in maternal-child nursing, including maternal and newborn care, childbearing, high-risk factors, complications, and women’s health.
• Ability to supervise, assess, remediate, and support nursing students in clinical environments.
• Ability to maintain knowledge of clinical agency policies, procedures, and expectations.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required for teaching at certain clinical partner sites.
