Salary: $26.00–$31.00 per hour for Washington state, depending on qualifications and experience; bonus plan available.

What you will do

• Retrieve, measure, cut, inspect, and prepare wire and cable for customer shipments.
• Operate wire-reeling, coiling, cutting, and stripping machinery, adjusting machine controls for wire specifications.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fill orders accurately, stage wire cuts for shipment, and store merchandise in designated areas.
• Perform equipment checks, report damage, and follow safety, environmental health, and productivity procedures.
• Support other warehouse functions and work overtime when needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of wire-cutting experience preferred; warehouse or distribution-center experience is beneficial.
• Ability to train on and safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, use basic computer systems, organize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent walking, bending, crouching, and handling of equipment.
• Ability to work in noisy, hot, cold, and potentially hazardous environments.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; forklift and other equipment certifications preferred.
