Quality Assurance Associate

What you will do

• Validate inbound and outbound warehouse production across trailers, locations, pallets, cases, and split-case totes.
• Inspect brands, varieties, quantities, order accuracy, and pallet construction.
• Identify mispicks, misplaced cases, and structural issues that may affect product integrity.
• Work with selectors and leadership to correct discrepancies and rebuild pallets in real time.
• Document quality and food safety issues and support root-cause analysis to prevent recurring errors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Knowledge of inventory accuracy validation, pallet construction standards, food safety requirements, and basic LEAN concepts.
• Ability to use MS Office and standard web-based tools, communicate clearly, and work independently.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb as required, and safely lift, push, carry, or move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks safely and work in temperatures from -10°F to ambient.

Nice to have

• Experience in food distribution, quality assurance, inventory control, or clerking roles.
• Additional training in quality, food safety, or warehouse operations.
